BEAR BORN BARE

A FIRST
                    BEAR BORN BARE
will be a first for today's scientist. Never has the birth of a bear been view -- not even in a zoo. Hopefully you will be one of those who experience this event live.
In Ely, Minnesota, which is Northeastern Minnesota, USA only 30 miles from the border of Canada. A truly amazing event could happen as early as January 15, 2010. Those who study this type of thing believe there is a very real possibility of a BEAR BORN BARE.
Lily is the beautiful creature who's winter den has been chosen for this 1st time event. Researchers have studied the family of lily who all live in this area of Minnesota. Lily is 2 years old and was born in the second litter of June, her mother. June will turn 9 this month and her mother, Shadow, will be 20 also in January.

The North American Bear Center and the Wildlife Research Institute have been studying the black bear ecology for quite a while.

                                                            A BEAR BORN BARE
has never been filmed before. Doug Hajicek, who is a film and video producer, made another video shooting in 1999. Unfortunately no BEAR BORN BARE was witnessed at the time.

Other biologist, Lynn Rogers and Sue Mansfield from the North American Bear center are working with Hajiceks. A camera has been placed in the hibernating den of Lily to witness a BEAR BORN BARE. Infra-red images will be available at night while color images are available during the day providing 24/7 viewing of the BEAR BORN BARE. Only photos are available unless activity prompts the motion-sensor to record video and sound.

Researchers using similar cameras, are surprised that hibernating bears move quite often. It has long been believed that they enter a deep sleep for the duration. The BEAR BORN BARE event camera will be broadcast through out the winter season.
